Project Safelight is an effort, headed by local artist Chanae Marie, to create a community darkroom for the use of Richmond's artistic community. Housed in nonprofit community art space Studio Two Three, which is located at 1617 W. Main St, the Safelight darkroom would be easily accessible for the photographers of Richmond, both amateur and professional, and would allow access to all sorts of resources that are often out of financial reach for the typical starving artist. A comparatively small contribution to Project Safelight's Kickstarter page could do a great deal to help bring this project to fruition, and could also allow you to receive some excellent Safelight-related freebies! With only a week left to reach their goal, Project Safelight still need a significant amount contributed in order to get there. Can you help?
