Here's a big one for you beer-drinkers out there: on Saturday November 12, starting at 5 PM and running all the way until closing time at 2 AM, The Camel will be presenting a Tap Takeover by Charlottesville's Starr Hill Brewery. Mark Thompson founded Starr Hill brewery in 1999. The company has grown from a small storefront location to a larger facility in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Starr Hill has won 18 national awards for their beer over the past 12 years. The Camel will be presenting seven different Starr Hill beers during this Tap Takeover. The featured Starr Hill beers on tap will be:
1) The Amber Lights Ale
2) Monticello Reserve Ale
3) Double Platinum
4) Smoke Out
So hey, if regional microbrews are your thing, this event is for you! Come early if the beer is all you're interested in, or if you'd like to check out some live music from local groups The Silo Effect and THINK?, who will be collaborating on a unique live set starting at 9 PM.
