If you're a fan of VA skate culture, you need to check this out! Chris Underwood, a local filmmaker and winner of 2010 VMFA Fellowship award, is in the process of putting together an all-HD skateboard video showcasing East Coast skaters and skate spots. His company, Thunderwood, in conjunction with Culture Shock, have put up a Kickstarter page, raising money in order to complete filming and get the video pressed onto Blu-Ray/DVD discs. The minimum pledge in order to get something in return for your assistance is only $3--which will still get you an HD download copy of the film once it's completed. Pledges of higher amounts can score DVDs of the original Bruleesies video, stickers, t-shirts, and even, for pledges above $50, a producer credit on the video! Wouldn't it be cool to be able to put that on your resume? Act now, because there are only 9 days left before the Kickstarter deadline arrives, and you wouldn't wanna miss out.

More info on the Bru-Two video project:
Bru-Two is an all HD skateboard video being produced by Thunderwood in conjunction with Culture Shock. Utilizing our love for skateboarding and collective filmmaking talents, we are working on a skateboard video that harkens back to videos like Alien Workshop's Photosynthesis and Zoo York's E.S.T. series. Our goal is to create a full length video that promotes exploring your own surroundings and being creative with what your area has to offer.
