CJ Boyd "Bonfire"

Boyd used bass loops, harmonica drones, and his voice to create lush sounds that swirled in the crisp night air. Layering notes and chords over taps and scratches while adjusting the volume and samples with his bare feet; CJ rolled his eyes back into his head possibly to see how is brain is controlling all of these actions and ideas at the same time.

Once he decided that touring was the life style of choice, he looked into converting diesel engines to run off vegetable oil, then found an old ambulance and drove it from Aurora, IL to Santa Maria, CA for the operation. Since then he has been studying up on how to fix and repair the new system. With no actual physical residence to call home, CJ often sleeps in the back right on top of the oil tank.
