Peelander-Z, by their own admission, are from a different fucking world. Half the staff of RVAMAG was at this show, and were promptly taken on an intergalactic punk-rock journey across the stars. Special thanks to TRIGGERSYSTEM for booking and promoting.
We were lucky enough to have RVAMAG's own Alyssa interview Peelander-Z. They are yet another band who are not from this world to play RVA. They seem much more benevolent than Richmond transplants GWAR, who are also not from this blue planet.

RVAMAG editor-at-large S. Preston Duncan may have been abducted by aliens, specifically in an alien conga line.

One of the aliens, who we have been told is known as "Peelander Red", went through a metamorphosis on stage.

Peelander Red, seen here in human form. Note the wicked bass skills that could not possibly be of this world.

Red is seen here in what looks like a crowdsurfing attempt, however he actually had anti-grav space boots. He merely prefers humans as a walking platform to general hovering.

Peelander Z's homeworld apparently has a similar school structure, albeit with a different academic emphasis.

Photographer Ian M. Graham risked life and limb to get this close to the alien punk rockers.

No humans were hurt during this floor-show encore, although several had their minds completely f@#king blown.
