The Coathangers "Stop Stomp Stompin"

The Coathangers "Wreckless Boy"

While researching shows to check out, I received a tip that a band billed as the "Sexiest Power Punk in America" were coming to Richmond and not to be missed! I checked out some tracks online and quickly became excited about my discovery. The Coathangers, from Atlanta, GA, formed about three years ago after bonding in Washington DC at an anti-Bush rally. Their music is energetic and fun and their sound reminded me of Bikini Kill mixed with some early Slits. Each member took turns singing and playing different instruments, depending on the needs of each song; letting all four personalities shine through. Make sure you catch them on tour with Mika Miko before they blow up!

It's like the lady who does "Chick Habit" is singing for The Donna's.

That should work, but actually this sounds pretty crappy.
