Hidden Parks in the Fan

Scuffletown Park

Once known for it's 70s sculptures, most of which have been removed. Lots of benches and a tot-lot for kids to play in. Great lunch break or picnic spot.

Where is it?
Best way to find this park is to turn onto Strawberry St from Park Ave and make a right into the first alley.

In Between:
Strawberry St and N Stafford Ave -&- Stuart Ave and Park Ave




Paradise Park (AKA "Geometric Park")photo by PJ Sykes

Designed by Carlton Abbott in 1968. Named for the large Paradise Tree which is at the southern boundary. Functional art sculpture of geometric forms which was recently painted. Great hangout spot.

Where is it?
Best way to find this park is to turn onto N Vine St from Floyd Ave then make a left into the first alley.

Floyd Ave and Grove Ave -&- N Vine St and N Allen Ave

Federal Park

Small modern jungle gym for young children. Short walk from many Fan restaurants.

Where is it?
Best way to find this park is to turn right off Main St onto Rowland and then left into the first alley.

Main St and Floyd Ave -&- N Rowland St and N Shields Ave
