Monotonix "Flesh And Blood"
WRIR Activate! with Mike Rutz - Feat. a Monotonix performance & interview.
Monotonix, from Tel Aviv, Israel, are notorious for their energetic and chaotic live shows. They don't play in the audience--they play on the audience. Tunneling into a sea of sweaty bodies and reappearing on the other side, the members never paused for anything. The drum kit was dismantled and played as individual pieces on top of tables, people or just about anything else.

The band started near the stage and migrated clear across the room by the end of the set. People were not the only thing crowd surfing during the performance--a few chairs, drums and other random objects were just as common.

A ticket to a Monotonix show will certainty get you sweaty, dirty and probably covered in at least two flavors of beer. I know first hand because I had to replace my camera after my first experience.

PJ these shots are fantastic. You're a great photographer, as always, but these are particularly jaw-dropping awesome!
