The Richmond Metalfest 2010 will be held Friday September 24 in Richmond, Virginia. The debut festival is a 1 day event that will feature some well known metal bands as well as some great newer metal bands. The goal of the Richmond Metalfest is to give the fans a killer show for an affordable price, where everyone can see quality metal bands all on one stage that they'd likely not have the chance to see live otherwise. For the bands it's an opportunity to connect with fans new and old, as well as network with other metal acts and people in the metal scene.
