Dj Mir (aka Nasa)

Mir (Nasa) would describe himself as a music geek who grew up listening to 90's R&B and anything on warp records. He has been cutting his teeth playing basement parties, art shows, and throwing dance parties around town. Recently he has been working with a collective group called Chocolate Milk. They are contently working to bring about new music and push new forms of mixing with elements of hip-hop, drum and bass, dub step, jazz, acid jazz, and trip-hop. I was recently able to see them live taking turns mixing at The Camel, and was impressed with the original productions I was hearing from them. It reminded me of a Nosaj Thing - or something similar with elements of dub and electronica. We are looking forward to hearing more from them in the future, and hopefully getting some original production up as well.
