- I must say it was a definite pleasure working on this video for two separate reasons. The first being the professionalism of the band members especially the frontman Barcodez with whom I had most of the initial consults, not to mention that I also really liked the vibe of the song. The second reason being that this was my first music video with Smooth Dirty Productions. Don’t let the name fool you though cause there is nothing dirty about the new team. Working with them definitely sped up the production process. Shout out to Allen Watts,Will Bryan and Alex Hawthorne.

So what is the concept of the video? Well simply put, it is about two people’s relationship with music (CRUSH) and how it affects the dynamics of their personal relationships. So in the case of the male lead, music was #1 and his girl was #2. In the case of the female lead, she tried the whole balancing act between music and her son while relying on people around her to make both work.

One of my favorite parts was when Vaun shed tears in the opening seconds. We had a whip on set ready to go, but she surprised me by going into a zone and shedding those tears on cue. lol Great Job Vaun!
