Welcome to Plan B: follow Blake Midgette around to all the spots you wouldn't normally see him in, and watch the hilarity ensue. Plan B is a concept show from RVA TV that feeds off of Blake's self-deprecating humor; even the editor, Jon Headlee, gets involved and shares a memory he'd already forgotten (RVA's Ghost Cruise was amazing!)
What is Carnival of 5 Fires? Carnival of 5 Fires is Gallery 5's yearly massive party featuring great artists, musicians, fire spinners, burlesque dancers, and more. RVA TV's Tarun Sinhat, Tommy Bell, and Stone Ferrell filmed both Friday (the Dark Queen's Boudoir burlesque show, which will be the Totally Insane Tuesday next week) and Saturday (C5F), capturing many of the festivities, along with interviews with many of the participants, including a Cannabis Corpse inspired Bud Babe, firespinner Matt Sticky, artist Mike Moses of Salvation Tattoo, and the No BS Brass Band (who played both the antiquity of Mozart's "In the Hall of the Mountain King", and more modern classics like John William's "Imperial March" from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back) with drunken appearances by Raver Jesus and a Juggalo/Juggaho couple.
The question is, do you want to see more? Let us know what you think. We're working on making this a monthly show, but we want your opinion. Oh, and does anyone know who the guy at the very end is? We love the promotion by others, but have no clue who he is.
