Celebrate the best kind of sausage party with Legend Brewery Saturday from 12-7pm. The first annual Best of the Wurst Sausage & Beer Festival on June 29 will feature tastings from great local breweries such as Hardywood, Strangeways, and Midnight Brewery.
The sausage situation will include only the best of local and regional pork products as well. “Whole Foods is going to bring sausages, [Legend Brewery] will use sausages in house, and we will get a few others from Smithfield,” said David Gott, Vice President of Operations with Legend Brewery. Legend will also serve a “specialized summer grill out menu.” There’ll be musical entertainment provided for attendees to enjoy as well; local acts scheduled to perform include Big Enough and The Mike Lucci Band.
The festival will take place within Legend’s pub and parking lot. Admission is $10 and comes with a sausage sampler. Extra samples cost $5 and will include four more tastes of sausage with a side of sauerkraut and mustard. For more info, check out these facebook event pages:
