Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing at DreamHaus 2026

STANDUP. CROWD WORK. REAL HYPNOSIS.

THINK KILL TONY WITH JEDI MIND TRICKS.

The Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing Show with Colin Chapman is a live comedy show in Richmond, Virginia that combines standup comedy, crowd work and real hypnosis into one completely unpredictable night at DreamHaus in Richmond, VA on Friday, October 16, 2026.

This is comedy first. Hypnosis second.

Colin starts the show with standup comedy and crowd work, getting to know the room, screwing with the audience and finding out exactly what kind of people showed up.

Then volunteers who genuinely want to experience hypnosis come onstage.

That’s when the show goes completely off-road.

Colin hypnotizes real volunteers and uses real hypnosis as another weapon for spontaneous comedy. No two groups react the same way. No two audiences are the same. No two shows can possibly be the same.

If you like Kill Tony because you love live comedy that can go anywhere, audience interaction, crowd work and the feeling that nobody – including the comedian – knows exactly what’s going to happen next, this is your kind of show.

Think of the energy and unpredictability of Kill Tony, except instead of pulling names out of a bucket, Colin pulls volunteers out of the audience and starts screwing with their minds.

Hence:

Kill Tony with Jedi mind tricks.

This is not a magic show.

Hypnosis is real.

And this is definitely not the traditional stage hypnosis show where you spend two hours watching people pretend they’re chickens.

Real hypnosis. Real volunteers. No chicken shit.

The hypnosis isn’t the point.

The laughs are the point.

That’s why The Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing Show feels much closer to an unpredictable live comedy show than a traditional hypnosis performance. Standup establishes the room. Crowd work breaks down the wall between performer and audience. Then real hypnosis takes audience participation somewhere normal crowd work simply can’t go.
