Bay Grass Update 6: Eye Of The Storm

by | Mar 8, 2017 | RICHMOND NEWS

Welcome to your weekly tantalizing and enchanting bay grass update. I’m sure your Wednesdays are at least a little better now that you have this to look forward to. If not, please pretend for me.

For once, we haven’t had any problems- we’re actually getting a hang of this thing now. But not without Editor Brad Kutner dropping his phone in the water and letting out a blood curdling scream while taking a sweet pic for last week’s update. Who honestly would have guessed that a grass aquarium would result in some casualties? Life is full of surprises.

His phone is fine, but I’m consistently impressed with the sacrifices Brad makes for this publication. Give him some flowers, or a break.

Our learning curve might make these updates a little less exciting for those of you that thrive off our failures and complications. It’s okay, I too live for the #drama. But we’re mostly glad the office swamp has clarified itself a little bit. All of the equipment is functioning, algal growth strong but normal, and the grass is trying its absolute best. The tub itself is pretty grimy but a little nature never hurt nobody so don’t judge.

As for my competitors in the race for title of Grass Queen, I have only one thing to say:

Until next time!
