So I’m gonna be up front about one thing from the start–well, maybe two. 1: I really don’t like it when I go to watch a video and the first thing I see and hear is a montage of stuff that’s coming out. If I didn’t know who you are, I would click the X and keep it moving. This isn’t 1960; put the credits at the end, I wanna see work. 2: Octavion X of Suburban District almost never disappoints, and even if you don’t like him, Smooth Dirty always comes through with a solid visual treatment for a record. No disrespect either way, just being honest. That being said, you should already know if Octavion is on it, and Dr. Millionaire… there’s gonna be something about some ladies, and this record is no exception to the rule. The big surprise here is that Koncept (who has the first verse) really is in sync with this record lyrically, and carries the weight to keep you listening while the ladies keep you watching. Good to see a young guy step it up. Dr. Millionaire channels his inner Luda a bit and delivers a solid verse, ratchet as ever. Then Octavion punctuates things both lyrically and visually, as he is the only artist on the track to have two different locations for his verse. This is a good video overall given the topic, and the production by Hovey Benjamin and David Greene was solid as well. I liked that it looked like everyone was having fun, there were lots of familiar RVA faces in the background, and of course some pretty, scantly clad women (note to all artists: if your song involves women, you should have women in the video). Check it out–and if you know these guys, don’t tell their girls.
