In fact, their Jim Henson tribute show back in January sold out so quickly that, by the end of our ticket giveaway for that show, winning that giveaway was the only way to get tickets at all! This time around, you had better not snooze, because Blacklist Burlesque are sure to outdo themselves with Stay Tuned: A Burlesque Tribute to Classic TV–coming to Richmond CenterStage’s Gottwald Playhouse this Saturday at 9 PM!
This show has all sorts of thrills in store for you–starting with an appearance by former DC resident/now full-time RVA habitue Anna Steasia, who will be bringing her interpretation of everyone’s favorite prototypical goth queen, Wednesday Addams, to the stage! Don’t mess with this woman–we all remember how much she loved to torture Pugsley.
That’s just the beginning of what you can expect from this performance, though. There will also be a star turn from Bella LaBlanc, also heading down from DC to delight her RVA fans. Then Bryan Boylesquo will get into some classic Star Trek shenanigans, and of course, Moxie LaBouche and Dante The Inferno will be on hand and up to their usual hijinks. Plus, there’ll be appearances by Glittery Assettes, Lorelei Leisure, Ray Bullock, Xander Lovecraft, Venessa Chevelle, and your always-debonair host, Ego Von Hubris. This show is gonna have plenty going on–and luckily for you, there’ll be no annoying commercial breaks every eight minutes!
