GHOST OF POP: The Druthers

by | Dec 9, 2011 | MUSIC

One of the most remarkable moments from Ghost of Pop events past was when The Sweater Band headlined a few years back. There were kids everyone screaming and dancing along to the glowing sounds of Weezer’s heyday. The Druthers will bring a similar excitement to the evening with their take on British Pop. The Druthers are a premier cover outfit that celebrates the catalog of Elvis Costello, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and The Buzzcocks, among others. As soon as the alcohol starts kicking in, you can bet there will be a fair number of cats singing along to the sounds of “Anarchy in the UK” and “Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t‘ve).” It’s going to be one hell of a way to close out the evening, with a throwback to our favorite music from across the Atlantic.
