Dear Mr. Watterson,

There are few pieces of serial art I love as much as I truly adore every last one of the three thousand, one hundred and sixty comic strips of Calvin and Hobbes. The humor, lessons in zen, honesty, acceptance and simplicity, and easily the finest watercolors ever to grace the sunday edition. Watterson himself changed the sunday comics format forever. At one point, I had collected every single Calvin and Hobbes book, only to loose them all in a move. It was several years before the Complete Calvin and Hobbes came out, and I bought it almost immediately. Below is the trailer for a film about Mr. Watterson that is seeking funding- I have already chipped in, and if you’re a fan of Calvin and Hobbes, please take a moment to think about all the enjoyment you’ve gotten from the strip, and then chip in $3.
