Lady Parts Justice, is a group that aims to use humor to spread the message about the damage that abortion laws have done around the country and the difficulty many women still face in accessing reproductive care.

In continuing to raise awareness on abortion issues, Lady Parts Justice has teamed up with Wifety.tv to launch a comedic video to kick off Women’s History Month and since it’s Super Tuesday, the group decided to take a shot at the states represented and their primitive abortion laws through what else, a beauty pageant.

The 14 states represented by women each come up to the mic and proclaim their state’s laws or views on abortion in comedic fashion of course.

“Virginia is for lovers…unless you have an unplanned pregnancy,” the woman representing the state says with a smile.

The Virginia “Fun Fact” stated that Sen. Steve Martin considers a pregnant woman a “host” that should not have the right to end her pregnancy.

In Virginia, the General Assembly voted down a bill once again that would have taken away pre-abortion ultrasounds.

Check out our coverage of Lady Parts Justice when they released a video last month called “It’s Not Groundhog Day” that stresses how women, like the famous Bill Murray movie, are having to face the same battles over and over again.

Check out their website for other videos on TRAP laws and abortion issues that they’ve covered.
