In just a few day it will be 2017 and we will be worrying about sticking to our New Years resolutions, many of us making and considering major life changes, and most of us wondering how much crazier the world plans to get next year. But before we have to worry about those things we get to celebrate the fact that we survived another year.

There are plenty of New Years Eve parties going on around Richmond this year, and no matter if you’re looking to salsa, or listen to some heavy metal, there is an event for just about everyone to ring in 2017. Luckily for you, RVA Mag has compiled a list of all these events to help you pick how you want to celebrate. Check out our NYE 2016 guide below and if we don’t see you before, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Quirk Hotel New Years

Chef David Dunlap is blowing it out with a very special NYE menu this year. Seatings start at 5 & 7 p.m. The hotel will raise a glass and get the party started at 10 pm with DJ Ant Boogie. This New Year’s Eve extravaganza, which is put on my our own president John Reinhold will include 2 stages of music, Djs, live music, fire performance, circus arts, multi-room interactive art installations, live painting, chill lounge, libation stations and much more! If you’ve ever seen the PLF Pyro Circus this is that times 100! PLF is bringing back Josephine, a 20 foot tall metal Skeleton Marionette. She is a 20 foot tall metal sculpture created by Charlottesville artist Christian Breeden. Hardywood Park Craft Brewery will be supplying their awesome local beer! Goatocado will be bringing their food truck. Music includes several DJs featuring Mr. Jennings x Reinhold, that’s right, our RVA Mag president John Reinhold will be bringing some jams so this is definitely not one to miss. A Vagabond New Year with NO BS Brass Band

Ring in the New Year with Vagabond as they provide tunes from the RVA boys we know and love, NO BS! Brass Band and a special guest! The restaurant is providing a 4-course prix fixe dinner for $75 which includes the dinner and ticket to the party, champagne toast at midnight and late night buffet. Havana ’59 NYE Fiesta 2017

Keeping tradition with their huge annual New Years celebration, Havana ’59 will ring in the new year Latin style with dinner, drinks and dancing. Enjoy dancing to the latin rhythms of Salsa, Latin mix and more on all 3 floors featuring DJ TAZ. 60 Inch TV will be set up for everyone to view the NYC Ball Drop! New Years Eve at the Hof

The Hofheimer Building is celebrating from 8 to 2 with bands, DJs, a burlesque show and a champagne toast. Performances from Black Masala – DC based gypsy brass band, Yeni Nostalji – turkish pop lounge singer and music from DJ Mike Murphy – retro dance party. Melody Magpie

The Veil Brewing-New Years Jam with Ball Drop
