The RVA Festival of Laughs brings 20 comedians to Richmond for a three-day event. Capital Ale House Downtown is hosting four shows, Feb. 26-28, with the option to purchase tickets per show or an All-Access Pass.
“Richmond has always been known for The Civil War, Edgar Allen Poe, The Flying Squirrels,” reads the event’s website. “All funny stuff. But NEVER has the been a concentrated effort to bring funny people to Richmond for 24 hours of fun. That’s all changed…”
This is the not the first year the event has brought laughs to RVA, but this year’s line up is sure to keep you interested.
Headliner Micah “Bam-Bamm” White has toured with comedians like Pablo Francisco, Bob Saget and Bernie Mac. He’s been all over Virginia, hitting up most of the state’s universities and will be back in RVA on Saturday at 7 p.m.

There will also be a host of featured Virginia natives like Brian Kerns, Charles Ellis Jr., Cori Healy and Jesse Thomas who have had several stints at local comedy spots in Richmond.

The event will bring laughs and benefit the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, which provides “free civil legal assistance to low-income people.”
