Can’t Hardly Date, Weekend Lawyer, and Miss Golightly bring the fun to Friday night
The Coalition Theater proudly presents the 8th Annual 2ND BEST FEST—a three-day comedy extravaganza showcasing the best in improv, sketch, and stand-up. Running June 5–7, this year’s festival brings high-caliber acts from LA, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore, Raleigh, DC, and RVA to four incredible venues in Richmond’s Downtown Arts District.
Friday night continues with a trio of standout acts. First, Richmond’s Can’t Hardly Date uses your most awkward, disastrous, and unforgettable romantic experiences for improv inspiration. Then Weekend Lawyer, visiting from Chicago, relationship-focused long-form. Finally, Miss Golightly closes!

Can’t Hardly Date takes your worst or most memorable dates and turns them into an improvised long form set! It’s so much fun (and sometimes awkward).

Weekend Lawyer is a Chicago-based long form improv team. This tight-knit group of friends specializes in longform improv that brings worlds to life and dives into the intricacies of relationships.
