In Reset we meet and follow five people who have chosen to disappear – to find out if it is possible to disappear, start over and perhaps become a different person. An ex-criminal fakes his death in the waves in Florida, a runaway girl turned adventurer and escapes to a deserted island, a man flees the ”perfect life”, changes name five times and settles down in a parallell society in the Texas desert, and two religious hermits provide a solitary retreat for people who want to ”disappear”.
