Virtual Writing Workshop--Writing the Queer & the Quotidien (Week 4)

The Q&Q is an online (via ZOOM) weekly writing workshop designed to foster a secure and nurturing community where backstory explanations and unnecessary definitions are things of the past, where you can fearlessly explore any topic without shame or judgement. Through personalized prompts and free-writing exercises, we’ll unearth stories that are bold, genuine, and moving—ranging from the humorous to the heart-wrenching, and everything in between. Our workshop will be a haven of strengths-based feedback and active listening, fostering a space for the profound, vibrant, tragic, and sensual narratives that make up our lives. We’ll celebrate both the sacred and the profane, the queer and the quotidien. Writers of all levels, including those who may not yet identify as such, are welcome to this 5-week online class. Together, we’ll craft new works, form a close-knit community, and honor our unique identities.
