Welcome to Runtville, USA—population: 267.5. Nestled between nowhere in particular and the highway exit nobody takes, Runtville is the kind of town where the mayor also runs the gas station, the local news is reported via hand-written flyers stapled to a cow, and the neighborhood watch is mostly just one guy who’s really into binoculars.
In this fast-paced sketch comedy show, the offbeat residents of Runtville navigate the bizarre, the mundane, and the internet jokes from 2012 that are just now reaching them. Whether it’s the town council debating the ethical implications of a haunted vending machine, the annual talent show being hijacked by a barbershop quartet that only sings in Morse code, or the post office doubling as a fortune-telling parlor (but only on Tuesdays), one thing is certain: life in Runtville is anything but normal.
