As you all have no doubt heard by now, Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God is back home safe in Richmond. Last Friday, the local metal community threw a huge Welcome Home party/benefit for Randy’s legal defense at The Canal Club, featuring over a dozen bands from the local scene on two stages. The crowning glory of the evening was the headlining set: Cannabis Corpse, featuring none other than Randy Blythe himself on lead vocals. Since Cannabis Corpse’s lineup shakeup earlier this year, bassist Phil “Landphil” Hall has handled lead vocal duties in the band for the most part. However, they did play a benefit show for the Cory Smoot Memorial Fund earlier this year with Randy Blythe on vocals, and there could be no better way to welcome Randy back to town than by having him reprise his role as temporary Cannabis Corpse lead vocalist at this show. Matt Colvin of Pike Possum was in the house with a video camera, and documented the occasion for all to enjoy, so we now present to you Cannabis Corpse, featuring Randy Blythe on vocals. Enjoy.
