Ladies and gentlemen, here it is: the brand new video from Richmond hip-hop sensation Noah O. “Oh My” is a powerful, politically oriented track that begins with a sample from one of Barack Obama’s speeches and goes on to outline the concerns and struggles of working class people trying to get by during the current tough economic times. The song comes from Noah O’s newest mixtape, Thug Wilder 4 President, which you can download for free right . For the video, Noah traveled north to DC to work with director Kim Shim Won, who followed Noah through the streets of the nation’s capital as he took on the role of a homeless man. It seems to have been a humbling experience for Noah, as his commentary at the end of the video reveals. Either way, both the track, produced by Mikki Kawane, and the video are excellent documents of what Noah’s doing now in the wake of last year’s hit video “I Got It.” Clearly he’s still got plenty more to say, so keep an eye on this talented local artist.
