The Cheats Movement brings us this excellent-quality live video that combines two different performances by local hip-hop/soul/funk group Photosynthesizers, doing their song “Crush.” This song shows off all facets of their wide range, from hard funk and powerful hip-hop rhyming to smooth, melodic breaks and gorgeous soulful vocals. The video even features breathless testimonials from fans filled with post-show excitement. Photosynthesizers are bringing a multi-faceted group of RVA residents together under the banner of great music, and they’ll only be spreading their sound and vision more widely over the course of 2012. Keep an eye on them.
