School is back in session and it’s time for everyone to hit the books once again, but before we all settle down to a quiet, studious fall semester, No BS! Brass Band is kicking off Labor Day weekend with one last summertime party!
School is back in session and it’s time for everyone to hit the books once again, but before we all settle down to a quiet, studious fall semester, No BS! Brass Band is kicking off Labor Day weekend with one last summertime party! So put down the books, put on your dancing shoes, and make your way down to the Camel tomorrow night to kick out the jams like it’s goin’ out of style. The Compass Rose Orchestra, an eight-piece band led by No BS! compatriot Lucas Fritz and featuring some of the best musicians in town, will open the show with a heavy hitting set mixing covers of all shapes and sizes with excellent original material, including songs from their self-titled debut CD, released earlier this year. Once they’ve gotten everyone warmed up, No BS! will take the stage and blow the lid off the place with their 10 piece brass attack! If you’re a fan, the group would love to see you representing with your No BS! Brass Band swag, and if you’re a new initiate, fear not, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to pick up t-shirts, CDs, and other great No BS! merch. Most importantly, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to DANCE–and we expect to see you all in attendance and getting down!
