Whoa. Everyone here
looks like a younger version
of someone I know.

cuter than the Ramones. Shame
it’s last time around.
That harmonica

All this to say–I’ve
not seen that much shred come from
under newsboy cap.
Devil smiles across
the south like Emmylou had
finally killed Gram.
Except that’s not what
this sounds like at all; hi hat,
down beat, rock n roll.

Insides shift–good way.
Feet shift. Up. Down. Up. Around.
Shifty shift. Move. Soar.
Rev, rev, cheerlead, shake
shit. Shake shake to fro. Go! Make
us want more. So bad.
