With lyrics as poetic and thought provoking as this it’s no wonder Perry was tapped to perform this year’s Super Bowl show. A paragon of virtue Perry reportedly refused to pay to play the Super Bowl saying “I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl”.

A bold, if not a surprising move, Perry stood her ground and refused to pay for all the free publicity and increased record sales performing for 111.5 million people might yield. After all, everyone knows the Super Bowl isn’t about advertising or even money, it’s about chasing a ball or something.

Alright, maybe it’s not the real song, but it’s what I hope it is.

Heidecker, one half of the Tim & Eric anti-comedy duo, both of whom rose to hipster fame through their super bizarre sketch show, is actually a fairly accomplished musician and producer.

Last year he partnered with David Wood to form the musical duo Heidecker and Wood. The two released a record which may or may not be entirely a joke:

As a successful musician Heidecker has access to a variety of things, such as leaked songs from America’s greatest pop stars.
