In my humble opinion, Tuesday is easily one of the most underrated days of the week. Granted, it is a weekday on the wrong side of Wednesday, but it has many redeeming qualities. For instance, it’s not Monday, it’s the traditional day for home video and music releases, it’s becoming increasingly synonymous with tacos, and it’s the only hashtag-free weekday.

But if none of these reasons make you a Tues-believer, perhaps tonight’s show at Strange Matter will change your mind?

This super Tuesday will feature the musical stylings of Peach Kelli Pop, the Milkstains, Lance Bangs (formerly Collin Thibodeauxx), and Deer Eat Birds.

Tonight’s main event is Peach Kelli Pop, a quintet of Punk ladies from L.A.. I feel that description, combined with the band name, more or less says everything you need to know, but inquiring minds are encouraged to come out to the show and see/hear for yourselves.

Peach Kelli Pop will be joined by a slew of Richmonders, including the Milkstains, who have been injecting their Surf-ish sensibility into many a show around town.

Co-opening Tuesday is Lance Bangs of former Collin Thibodeauxx notoriety, and Jazz Rock newcomers Deer Eat Birds. If this show doesn’t make your Tuesday feel like this, I don’t know what will.

Doors for tonight’s show open at 9PM with music at 10PM. Tickets are available online or at the door ($10 cover). This is an 18+ show.
