RVA singer Shannon Montsinger has captured lightning in a bottle with this hilarious new video coming to you live from the West End. If you’ve ever wondered what Rebecca Black’s “Friday” would have been like if it was written by a hot cougar from the RVA suburbs, we’ve got your answer.

This video comes complete with an appearance from an uncredited rapper we certainly have never seen at Epic Fest, and features scenes shot in a convertible sports car, so really, the resemblance to “Friday” is uncanny. And the dance scene in Europa’s basement is pretty epic as well. This is totally hilarious and we can’t stop watching it. Check it out:

A tip of the hat to Andrew Cothern at RVA Playlist, who tracked this down–nice work, Andrew. And of course, if by any chance you want to download the song from iTunes, you need only click here.
