Matthew E. White’s song “Vision” was recently used for a short film by filmmaker Clara Aranovich and presented by NOWNESS, a video channel that premieres a new video each day to showcase contemporary culture through film. “Vision” is the latest track off White’s sophomore album Fresh Blood, which was released back in March via Dominino Records.

The film tells the story of a blind couple who take on a trio who are harassing them due to their impairment.

A minimalist version of the ‘Fresh Blood’ album, minus strings, horns, and choir was released on iTunes on Friday.

Check out our coverage of White’s oter video “Rock and Roll is Cold” from the new album here.

White is currently on tour and won’t make any stops in Richmond for awhile it seems, but he will be in Chartlottesvile on the 29th and DC Aug. 8.
