by | Oct 12, 2012 | MUSIC

Yes, folks, it’s that time once again–time to put on your dancing shoes and make your way down to Balliceaux on a Saturday night. The kingpins of Soulpower, Mr. Felty and DJ Pari, will be spinning classic soul and funk tunes strictly on vinyl, sharing that unmistakable warm, crisp timbre that no mere Ipod DJ can ever capture.

This month, they’ll be joined by fellow soul/funk vinyl collector Aaron Bushman, who’ll be spinning rare gems from his personal collection. He’ll be breaking out some seldom-heard tracks for your dancing and listening pleasure, and you’re sure to hear some tunes you’ve never danced to before. And of course, as always, your usual Soulpower hosts will be in the mix, keeping the party going all night. So come on out to Balliceaux this Saturday night, and be prepared to get down.

WHAT: Soulpower Dance Party with Guest DJ Aaron Bushman!
WHERE: Balliceaux, 207 N. Lombardy St.
WHEN: Saturday, October 13, 10 PM
ADMISSION: FREE!!!
