Hey everybody, remember the “Harlem Shake” meme? What do you mean, “too soon”? Yeah, we understand that everyone might just be sick to death of it, but any ubiquitous meme has to have a germ of excellence at the heart of it, and EDM producer Baauer is probably the best part of the whole silly affair.

And he’s got a lot more music than what you heard during all of those 30-second video clips. In fact, on his current tour, he’s been throwing USB sticks containing unreleased music into the crowds at his shows. Some of those songs are starting to appear on youtube–here’s an 8 minute excerpt from one that demonstrates what Baauer actually has going for him:

Accompanied by MPC assassin AraabMUZIK and Scottish EDM producer S-Type, Baauer will be bringing the heavy bass and the dance madness to The NorVa. If you want to dance all night (and not just for 30 seconds), you really can’t go wrong with this show.

WHAT: Baauer Harlem-Shakes The NorVa!
WHO: Baauer, AraabMUZIK, S-Type
WHERE: The NorVa, 317 Monticello Ave, Norfolk VA
WHEN: Thursday, November 21, Doors open at 8 PM
ADMISSION: $15 in advance, $25 at the door–order advance tickets HERE

And if you don’t have the cash to pay the (really quite reasonable) door price, RVA Magazine has got the hookup for you! We’re giving away 2 tickets to see Baauer and his other compatriots in bass at The NorVa–just plug your info into the Punchtab widget below, and the winner of those tickets just might be you! Hurry, giveaway ends Friday at 5 PM.
