Get ready to mosh! Legendary metalcore pioneers Hatebreed are coming to The NorVa next Monday, and one lucky RVA Magazine reader is gonna get to see them for free! Bursting onto the scene in 1997 with their debut album, Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire, Hatebreed set a new standard in dark, brutal moshcore, and took the chugga-chug breakdowns that had been pioneered by early 90s hardcore bands like Earth Crisis to a much wider audience, paving the way for the success of everyone from Killswitch Engage to Unearth and Atreyu. They’ve continued going strong throughout the intervening decade and a half, and dropped their sixth album, The Divinity Of Purpose, earlier this year. Check out the video for that album’s first single, “Put It To The Torch,” below:

Hatebreed is currently on tour with Shadows Fall, The Acacia Strain, and Battlecross, so metalcore fans can expect a full evening of high-energy moshpit action at The Norva next Monday. The show starts at 7:30, so get there on time, and get ready to tear the roof off the place!
