MiMOSA is coming to Central Virginia, and you could see the show for free! This California producer mixes hip hop and dubstep with an original, soulful flair that has garnered praise from far and wide. His recent Future Trill Vol. 1 mixtape has been available for free download online for a while now. Unlike a lot of releases that are listed as the first part of a series, Future Trill Vol. 1 is not an EP, but a 21 track full-length that lasts for over an hour. MiMOSA’s heavy beats, dynamic moods, and deft genre mixing is showcased well on the first single, “Beast.” Check out the video here:

MiMOSA’s Future Trill tour has been going on for quite a while now, and he’s been blowing fans away all over the country and the world with his distinctive sound. Spin Magazine named him one of the Top 10 Acts of Bonnaroo 2012, and he carried on his sterling live reputation this year at festivals like Coachella, Electric Daisy, and Global Dance Fest at Red Rocks. Chances are you won’t want to miss this guy when he arrives next week in Charlottesville.
