Of Montreal, the creative, constantly evolving Georgia indie band led by hyperkinetic genius Kevin Barnes, continue their prolific workrate in 2013, releasing their 12th album in 15 years and hitting the road once again to unleash their unforgettable live show on fans the world over. Their latest album, Lousy With Sylvianbriar, was released only last week by Polyvinyl, and showcases an intriguing mixture of their soulful electronic tendencies and psychedelic rock foundation. You can see for yourself in the video for “Fugitive Air,” the album’s first single. Check it out below:

The group is known for putting on an energetic and unpredictable live show–Kevin Barnes has even been known to disrobe onstage, which may or may not be a selling point depending on your perspective. But regardless, you can expect to hear some excellent psych jams from this Elephant 6 crew when they hit the stage at DC’s U Street Music Hall next week.
