Phantogram are back! This indie electronic duo, who released their first album, the appropriately titled Eyelid Movies, back in 2010, haven’t done any major work since then, contenting themselves with a series of EPs and guest appearances with artists as eclectic as Big Boi and The Flaming Lips. Now, though, on the heels of a new, self-titled EP, and with their long-awaited second LP, Voices, on the horizon, the duo are hitting the road to take their hypnotic electro-pop to the masses–and you could see them for free!

Now, though, on the heels of a new, self-titled EP, and with their long-awaited second LP, Voices, on the horizon, the duo are hitting the road to take their hypnotic electro-pop to the masses–and you could see them for free! Phantogram’s moody yet danceable sound resembles M83 and Goldfrapp as well as recent buzzworthy acts like Grimes and Purity Ring. Hear for yourself on “Black Out Days,” from their recent self-titled EP:

Phantogram will be performing at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville on Saturday, November 2, along with San Francisco dance-pop project Giraffage. Doors open at 8 PM; advance tickets are $16 and can be purchased HERE.

But if you’re really lucky, you could see this show for free! Just plug your info into the lovely box below this paragraph, and look out for extra chances to enter. The contest ends on Friday at 5 PM, so don’t delay!
