The Hives are the law, and not going to see their show is a crime! I have seen these Swedish rock n’ rollers live on multiple occasions, and every time, I have had a blast. With the fearsome fivesome returning to America this December to continue spreading the word about their unjustly overlooked 2012 album Lex Hives, any of you who have not yet managed to see The Hives live really must right that wrong immediately!

While the band’s sound has expanded to some extent, with the incorporation of horns and even the occasional vocoder, the driving rock n’ roll power that has always been their fundamental strength is still very much present and accounted for.
