We found out yesterday that that tour will include a stop in VA at The Patriot Center on Tuesday, December 18. The show will almost certainly spotlight the quartet’s brand new album–which is named after a motto that appears on their home state’s flag–as well as plenty of great highlights from their career thus far. There’ll even be an opening set from Canadian singing/songwriting twin sisters Tegan And Sara, which in our opinion is probably reason enough to show up as it is. Looks like the makings of a great evening–you know you want to be there!

We haven’t had a chance to check out the new Killers album in full yet, but if you’re starving for a taste of it, the video for the first single, “Runaways,” is below. It seems that The Killers are still experts at achieving the seemingly impossible fusion of 80s synth-pop, Bruce Springsteen, and U2–and I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m hearing a bit of Arcade Fire in this new single as well. Check it out for yourself below, and get stoked for this awesome performance!
