Best of RVA Missed Connections 6/5/18-6/12/18

by | Jun 12, 2018 | WTF?!

Get your popcorn ready Richmond, the best of RVA Missed Connections is back again with your weekly pick-me-up. This time we have a flirty encounter at Carytown Burgers & Fries, a woman can’t stop lusting after a tattooed dad walking his dog at Texas Beach, and a concerned citizen hopes to connect with a bald woman he saw joyriding on her scooter to return her wig she lost during her wild ride. Yep, that happened. All that and more below.

Dog dad at Texas Beach

Saw you a few days ago at Texas Beach; short navy hair, tattoos, and the cutest brown/black dog on a chain leash. You keep popping back into my mind and I find myself hoping to run into you again. Email me and tell me something about myself so I know if you were interested too.

wig snatched

I was driving from Hopewell, VA (specifically John Randolph Medical Center) to Publix in Colonial Heights on 6/9/18 when I saw a wig in the middle of the road. About 50-100 feet down the road I passed a bald woman joyriding in her mobility scooter. I just want to know if the wig was yours, and if you lost it by accident or threw it off in a moment of living your best life. I was much intrigued by the incident and wish to know the full story.

Girl at Addison St. Lamplighter today (Richmond)

You were sitting with a friend who I think worked at Lamplighter. Your eyes caught mine several times and I found you incredibly striking. I made a point to smile at you and lock eyes as I walked past. I was the tall guy with long hair wearing a hat. I was with my son at the time and kind of in a rush. I’m new to the area and know hardly anyone. If you are interested in a chat or coffee sometime let me know. If I see you again in public I’ll certainly introduce myself next time.

Star shirt downtown

Saw you this morning looking great in a star shirt. Was hoping to have a chance to speak with you but you seemed to be in a groove with your headphones on. You may have caught me staring. Where were we? Any interest?

Mechanicsville Tropical Smoothie on Thursday

On Thursday evening you started talking to me about science while I was grading lab reports. You were wearing a white (possibly striped) button down shirt. I was with a friend, and I was being shy and didn’t know how to respond. After you left she told me that you were flirting with me, but I am not always the best at picking up on things. But if you were, and if you were interested, please message me.

Guy in red Chevy Truck (Monument Ave)

I was driving a red Chevy truck. You were driving a light-colored sedan. We made eye contact a couple times. You looked like you were trying to get my attention. I turned left. You turned right. It looked like you pulled over, but when I circled the block, you were gone.
