CBS 6 is reporting Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders is coming to Petersburg’s Virginia State University next week, 2/18, though the Sander’s campaign has said it’s not quite confirmed yet.

More details via CBS 6:

Bernie Sanders will be speaking at Virginia State University, according to the university, who said Sanders will address the audience at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. A Sanders campaign spokesperson contacted CBS 6 and said that Sanders’ visit will not be confirmed until early next week.

The university still lists his visit on their website.

Sanders opened a field office here in Richmond earlier this month – he’s a big ol’ (democratic) socialist and he reminds me a lot of my Papa (god bless his soul).

We’re not weighing in on who you should vote for, but Killer Mike from Run the Jewels has only sat down with one of the current candidates, and that’s pretty dope.
