It has been a bit tough to stay on task since Trump’s big win – but there were a ton of other winners (and losers) locally that same night and many got swept under the rug/news cycle.

It has been a bit tough to stay on task since Trump’s big win – but there were a ton of other winners (and losers) locally that same night and many got swept under the rug/news cycle.

So Mark Cheatham, AKA Cheats, took to his podcast (as he as done a few times before this year’s election) and offered up an in depth look at what the next few years could look like under new management from School Boards to City Council and, of course, the Mayor’s seat at City Hall.

The episode featured heavy input by Richmond Mag’s Mark Robinson who has become one of the city’s leading local politics reporters.

Along side Robinson was the folks from RVA Dirt, a new local blogging venture focused on city politics as well as members of the community from Brewer’s Cafe owner Ajay Brewer to Church Hill People’s News creator John Murden.

It also featured the incredibly hung over RVAMag.com/GayRVA editor Brad Kutner – Kutner doesn’t chime in much till the end when he proceeds to insult pretty much everyone who one and imagines a worse case scenario that’s libel to make Friedrich Nietzsche cringe.

Someone please tell him to stop drinking before he has to speak in public.
