On Saturday, February 4, the newly-reopened Hippodrome presented the RVA Bootlegger’s Ball, an event designed to recall the grandeur of the Hippodrome in its earliest days. Wearing Prohibition-era formal wear, Richmond’s most fashionable citizens descended upon the event, prepared to dance, drink, and party all night. Live performances by popular local musicians No BS! Brass Band, The Big Payback, and Ameera, as well as DJ sets from PLF members Mr. Jennings and The Reinhold, were the soundtrack for a night of revelry. RVA’s own Todd Raviotta was there, and he brought back this video, documenting the great time that was had by all concerned. Enjoy!

Check out the full set of Todd’s images from the Bootlegger’s Ball HERE.
