And so it was known, 7-11 celebrated its birthday again with free Slurpees. Go into any 7-11 between 11 AM and 7 PM and you get a free 12 oz of frozen sugar-water. Sweet.

Now what you may not know, is 7/11 is also the donut chain Krispy Kreme’s birthday… and 7-11-14 is the brands 77th birthday. So, as the branding rules go, you get nearly free stuff for a price equal to your years in business – IE, buy a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, and get another dozen for $.77.

If you mange to hit both these spots, you’ll have enough sugar in your system till the next 7-11, I’m sure. But it’s summer, you’ve earned it, right?
