Wednesday night, 4/6/16, 12 candidates running to be Richmond’s new mayor took to the stage at VUU.

They were invited by Former Gov. Douglas Wilder who also helped moderate the event.


Wednesday night, 4/6/16, 12 candidates running to be Richmond’s new mayor took to the stage at VUU.

They were invited by Former Gov. Douglas Wilder who also helped moderate the event.

Each photo shows the candidate with a small intro, their opening statement, their answers to a ‘lightning round’ which offered them ‘yes’ or ‘no’ options to important city questions, and then their closing statements.

We’ll also include links to their campaign websites where possible.

Enjoy the read, we did our best to transcribe but there are a few holes. Either way, it was an interesting and, at times, entertaining night.
