Self produced with jangly drums and low, smooth bass, ‘Junk’ approaches the gusto and braggadocio of hip-hop with lighthearted ease. A far cry from today’s over-produced singles, ‘Junk’ is a sure head-nodder for kickin’ it with friends or whippin’ around in an uber on a night out.
He wasn’t wrong – I bobbed my head pretty consistently throughout ‘Junk,’ and it is delightfully under produced.
